Why you'll like it
Timing beats button mashing
Bloom Survivors is played with two thumbs. One moves Sprout around the field, the other fires your skills: an attack burst, a dash, a nova that clears space around you, and a heal. Every one of them runs on a cooldown, so you can't just hold a button and hope.
That makes each fight a small puzzle of when, not how fast. Dash through a gap before the swarm closes it, save the nova for the moment you're surrounded, and keep the heal for when it actually matters. Mid-run you also pick up upgrades like piercing thorns, frost shots, and ricochet, which change how each run plays out.

A garden to come back to
Between runs, Sprout goes home. The home garden is a calmer place where you plant, water, and harvest, and it's where the seeds you collect turn into something useful. Some of what you grow there feeds straight back into the next fight.
Everything you earn also goes into a permanent skill tree, so no run is wasted. Even a short, messy attempt pushes your hero a little further. It gives the game a nice rhythm: a few tense minutes in the field, then a quiet moment in the garden before you head out again.

Zones with bosses to learn
The world is split into zones on a map, and the bugs have left most of it grey. Each stage asks you to clear the field and open the Garden Gate, and every zone ends with a boss bug that has its own attack pattern.
Bosses are where the dodging really counts. The first attempt is usually about watching what it does; the next is about getting out of the way at the right time and hitting back when there's an opening. Beat it, and color returns to that part of the map.

About
Bloom Survivors is a survivor-style action game with a garden twist. You play as Sprout, a small plant hero, and each run drops you into a field of hungry bugs. You move with one thumb, fire off burst, dash, nova, and heal with the other, and pick up seeds that merge into fighting plants as the waves get bigger.
Runs last two to three minutes. Between them you go home to your garden to plant, water, and harvest, and spend what you've earned on a permanent skill tree, so even a bad run moves you forward. Each zone ends with a boss bug that has its own attack pattern to learn.
